There is a huge sign on the road  announcing the entry to Ilog Maria.  And from this sign, the farm is around 800 meters of rough road. Cars can navigate the road but an SUV  is more ideal in visiting Ilog Maria. Beehives greeted us as we approach the entrance gate of the farm.

Ilog Maria Honeybee Farm is a very quite, simple and unassuming place in Silang, Cavite. Many Metro Manila residents would find it a new experience to see how honey is produced.  Some may never imagine how a “beehive” actually looked-like except that what is shown in the movies with that stinging bees once their nest is disturbed. In Ilog Maria, Honeybees are kept in man-made beehives creating a controlled environment but without sacrificing the insects’ natural instincts.
