Fairview Terraces Mall (Quezon City)

Fairview, Quezon City is used to be a far away land isolated from the rest of Metro Manila. However, after the construction of three huge malls, the area became a development hub that consequently caused the prices of real estate to skyrocket to epic proportions. Now that an MRT line is on the way, the area will be a shopping hub in the future.

One of the malls I like to spend my free time is Fairview Terraces Mall. What is great about this mall is how it integrated nature into its dynamic shopping landscape similar to the UP Town Center. The huge mango tree accentuates the entire area where a fountain is the centerpiece of the design environment. I usually enjoy a nice cup of coffee while looking at this tree and the fountain. I enjoy this kind of moment when everything seems to fall in the right place at the right time.

With all the development taking place in Metro Manila, it is important that we never forget the importance of preserving trees. Going to a Fairview Terraces Mall very is invigorating and refreshing because it intelligently incorporated in its landscape natural vegetation. The trees provide shade and reduce the monotony of a shopping environment.
