Venice Grand Canal Mall (Taguig City)

Venice Grand Canal Mall, among other things, is bike-friendly. I saw a bike rack at the entrance. And this should be a standard for all malls. Using a bicycle to go to malls is one good alternative for anyone who is near the area and does not intend to go to the grocery. A bicycle solves parking issues. It is a healthier option and definitely better for the environment.

In fact, the whole Mckinley and Fort Bonifacio area is a paradise for bikers. The well-concreted roads,  beautiful buildings, and clean surroundings all add up for a great cycling experience.

Anyway, if you have that kind of dream to visit Italy and experience a Gondola in Venice yet somehow the possibility of this being a reality is somewhat remote in the near future, Venice Grand Canal Mall is a great alternative. Inside the mall is a 200-meter long man-made canal-lined up with replicas of buildings in Venice, Italy.

This man-made canal is unique and cannot be found in other malls. There is also a replica of the Rialto Bridge where most lovelocks are now covered with rust proving the statement that love will endure anything.

While walking inside the mall, I often see shoppers with their pets. A loyal and faithful dog on a leash is a common sight.  A pet-friendly mall such as this is definitely worth the visit.

Just like anyone else, I wish that this pandemic will end soon. Just like any other mall, Venice Grand Canal Mall has been affected by restrictions as a result of Covid 19. Gondola rides were affected and establishments inside the mall are allowed only to operate with a limited number of people inside.

It is said that this pandemic will end either end medically or socially. The former is when almost everyone gets vaccinated. While the latter is when people get tired of this pandemic. I definitely prefer that this pandemic ends when everyone gets immune from the disease.  But, if ever you decide to visit Grand Canal Mall or any other mall be sure to follow all prescribed health protocols. It is always better to be safe than sorry.

If you plan to visit this mall, please be sure to follow health protocols. Do not forget to wear your mask and face shield. Bring alcohol. Follow safe distancing rule. We all need to do our part in ensuring this pandemic will be under control.
