Bonifacio Global City is (Almost) Back to Normal

It is great to see that Bonifacio Global City, particularly Bonifacio High Street in Taguig City is getting back on its feet after a very long time due to the pandemic. Everything appears to be “normal” again.  There are more people than before.  More stores are open. Cute and beautiful pets with their owners can be seen on the lawn.  The water fountain that looks like a big rock suspended in mid-air has water coming out again. 

Bonifacio High Street is where you can find imported and high-quality clothing. If you are a pet lover, this is one place to see dogs and cats of various breeds. BGC and Blue Bay Walk in Pasay City are good places to bring your dog to play and to meet other dogs. 

If you are into cycling, you can bring your bike here for a tune-up or maintenance.  There are also several bicycle stores in BGC that sell high-end bicycles. If you just want to relax, you can simply sit down and enjoy a cup of coffee in different coffee shops along the way.

The pandemic has affected all of us. We can’t wait for it to end. While we understand why certain health protocols have to be imposed, everyone wishes that everything goes back to that time when sitting close with your friends or relatives is just fine and “normal”.  There are things that we wish are considered “normal” again such as going out without fear, seeing smiles, and using alcohol only at the Clinic. 

Whatever happens, everything will be at the proper place at the right time. Soon this pandemic will be part of history.  This will be just something that we will tell our grandchildren what it is like to live during a pandemic. The pandemic will soon come to an end and it will just be part of the experience. A recent check on the news says that Covid-19 cases are declining - a very good indication that we are on the road to normalcy.
