Where to Take Your Pets

I have several dogs. Most of them are small breeds - Chihuahuas and Pomeranians. I also have an “Aspin” or “Asong Pinoy”.  As a dog owner, I appreciate places where dogs are allowed to walk or roam free. I have seen that most malls in Metro Manila are pet-friendly.  There is even a pet show held in one of the malls in Mandaluyong  City that I definitely enjoyed.

If you want to take your dog to a park and you live in Pasay City, one of the places you can bring your dog for a walk or play is Blue Bay Walk This is a mall located not that far away from the gigantic Mall of Asia (MOA). There is enough parking space and you can easily get coffee and tea. There are also more than enough restaurants and clothing stores in this mall.

In a highly urbanized area, finding an open space for your pets is not that easy. There are, of course, rules and regulations that need to be followed. Often, pets such as dogs and cats are not allowed. In Blue Bay Walk, the overall atmosphere is relaxed and very welcoming.  After complying with health-imposed protocols, walking, playing, or training your dog on the lawn at Blue Bay Walk is indeed a time well spent with your pet.

Having a pet is good for our physical and mental health.  With a dog on your side, you feel like having a trusted friend and a companion ready to listen to you. You no longer feel alone. Stress leaves you. A dog will keep you moving. By just walking and playing with your dog is already a form of exercise.

In Blue Bay Walk, there are plenty of spaces to bond with your dog. The lawn is well maintained and  I can see different breeds of dogs that enjoy the area.  Dogs with responsible owners are very lucky.  They are well cared for and loved.

It is really heartbreaking to see stray dogs on the streets. They fend for themselves and try to survive on their own. Most of the dogs that I see on the streets are our local dogs or Aspins. Aspins are definitely not lesser of a dog compared to other imported breeds. Aspins are loyal, intelligent, and are very good guard dogs.

Every time I go to BGC or Blue Bay Walk,  I really am happy to see Aspins being walked by their owners and being given time to play on the lawn.  Adopt an Aspin and you will see that having one is a good decision.
