Feeding the Strays

Stray dogs and cats are deserving of the same love, care, and attention we give to our more expensive pets. We need to give them the attention and care that they need. If we help a stray dog or cat by just feeding them, we immediately change their world. You can see in their eyes, how grateful they are. 

In the Philippines, strays are everywhere. Abandoned dogs and cats can be seen on the streets trying to survive by themselves. These stray dogs and cats often fell victim to passing cars. Many are injured or are seriously hit or have lost their lives. 

We should not ignore these helpless animals. If we cannot help these stray dogs and cats, the least that we can do is not to hurt them. Be careful when driving. Avoid hitting these animals. Once injured, stray dogs and cats would have a very difficult chance to survive on the streets. 

By just feeding these strays, we send them a message that despite their situation someone still cares. They are loved. They may have been abandoned but still, there are others who care for them. 

Never abandon your dog or cat. They too have feelings like us. If we cannot treat our dog or cat as a member of our family, do not get one as a pet. A dog or a cat is a long time commitment. They are not like things that you can dispose of any time you like.
