Three Simple Things Not To Miss in Baguio City

When in Baguio City, there are simple things that you should not miss. Aside from the sightseeing, do not miss the strawberries. A visit to Baguio will not be complete without enjoying this fruit. I can still recall my first visit to a Strawberry Farm in La Trinidad - around thirty minutes away from Baguio City without the traffic. There were no fences then. It was a vast and sprawling farm where everything was picture perfect. Red Strawberries were about to be harvested and I enjoyed taking the fruits from the ground. If you do not have the time to go to La Trinidad, the best place to buy strawberries is in Baguio City Market. Fresh strawberries and their derivative products are sold at a very affordable price.

Buy Grapes, that are sold, not only in the market but also along Burnham Park. A Grape Farm in La Union is now a tourist attraction where the sought after activity is picking grapes. Grapes sold in Baguio City are not in any way special but eating them while enjoying the cool air in Burnham Park is a unique experience in itself.

Try the "Binatog" Dessert. I wish that the "Binatog" sold near the Baguio Flyover is served with plant-based milk. Anyway, I used to enjoy this native delicacy. This energy-boosting street food is very popular in Baguio City. The boiled corn kernels with milk are not only a delicious dessert. It is enough to give the needed energy to win the day.
