Why Plant Bougainvilleas

I admire a lush and beautiful garden. The different types of plants and flowers provide a very relaxing and tranquil atmosphere. By just walking along a path full of greens and abundant vegetation is one great way of clearing the mind. Once this COVID-19 pandemic is controlled and the lockdown is lifted, I will visit Quezon City Memorial Circle (QMC) and buy some plants preferably bougainvilleas.

There are areas in the QMC where a variety of plants are being sold. I often see bougainvilleas of different colors and sizes. Bougainvilleas are very sturdy and are accustomed to the tropical climate like the Philippines. I was informed that bougainvilleas love the sun. It will produce more flowers if it planted or placed in an area where it will get at least half a day of sunlight.

Bougainvilleas can be grown almost anywhere depending on its variety. It can be grown on a clay pot, various plant containers, on a trellis, on a roof deck, against a wall or a fence or even formed into a tree with an explosion of flowers.
