Why Ride a Folding Bike

 

Among other bicycles, I enjoy using my folding bike - Dahon D7  Curve. I have been using this bike for a year now and I can say that I am delighted with its performance. I use this bike most of the time and to almost anywhere.

One great thing about the Dahon Curve D7 is it is small and lightweight. I can carry it everywhere! It is portable! The bike fits in the car or in any vacant space in a jeepney and a bus. Once you take a folding, you have peace of mind on where to put your bike when you no longer need it.

A folding bike is also very easy to maneuver. It can easily be turned to the left or right. In traffic, riding the Dahon Curve is easy and smooth. It is very easy to fit this bike in tight spaces between cars. It is like when the traffic has literally transformed the highway into a huge parking lot, an expressway magically appears for this folding bike. Since this bike is easier to maneuver, I feel safer riding it.

A folding bike is small and adjustable. It can be used by everyone. The fact that a folding bike can be adjusted means that it is a bicycle fitted for everyone.  Bike fit issues automatically disappear when you get a folding bike resulting in a safer and more comfortable ride. A small bike like the Dahon Curve means that there is a lesser chance of getting injured. It takes very little effort to stop when necessary. You can easily get off a folding bike and plant your feet on the ground something not possible if you are using a bicycle not fitted for you.

A folding bike is surprisingly fast with less effort. If your destination is too far to walk to yet too near for a road bike, the Dahon Curve is a perfect choice. You can reach your other buildings in Makati, Ortigas, or in the BGC area with less sweat. When I used this bike for a leisurely ride at the MOA in Pasay City,  the Dahon Curve was beyond my expectations. It performed well despite its small wheels.

Folding bikes can carry you through the day. They can be your best companion if you are working and you love to ride. There is absolutely nothing that will prevent this bicycle from being with you either under your office table or securely locked at the bike rack. I mean a folding bike is something you can bring with you.
